CCE-Driveways 2012 London Olympics

CCE Driveways has started the new year with a BANG!!  With our surfacing works to the 2012 Olympic Aquatics Centre and the Velodrome, the 2012 Olympic cycle track  now complete, work has recommenced on the “Athletes Village ”.  CCE Driveways under the tenacious leadership of Mike Sugg MD has now been awarded resin surfacing works for three of the main contractors on the Olympic site:

Spade Oak Construction Limited – 16,000 square metres

Skanska – 40,000 square metres

Gavin Jones Limited – 3,000 square metres

With more works coming on line all the time, it looks to a very busy time for CCE Driveways!  The organising of supplies and materials, let alone getting crews and company vehicles through the very rigorous security in place on the Olympics sites is proving to be a logistical nightmare.

The weather has helped, every day we pray for dry weather.  Bad weather will be the only “fly in the ointment” as this will delay us from completing the resin surfacing, it is weather dependant.
