CCE Driveways were invited to undertake the surfacing of a driveway to a private house in Buckinghamshire. After a site visit we advised the clients that a small amount of ground works would be needed before the resin bound surfacing could be laid.
Some of the old tarmac surface course needed replacing, the original manhole covers and frames were renewed allowing the new surface to blend in and making the covers hardly visible.
New tarmac was laid to the prepared areas, and in turn they were prepared for the resin bound surface course.
The clients chose a 6mm Angular Buff resin bound aggregate, laid to a depth of 20mm. This would ensure the surface withstanding all but the heaviest of trafficking.
The clients were assured that the surface was virtually maintenance free. They were pleased to hear that any oil leaks from parked vehicles could be cleaned with a mild detergent and a power washer.
Another happy client.
